On average, Americans don't eat enough fish. The typical diet contains significantly more omega-6 fatty acids than omega-3 fatty acids. Thus, Omega Plus provides a balanced ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids.* Most people know that omega-3 fatty acids have significant health benefits. But Thorne’s Omega Plus also contains the omega-6 fatty acid – gamma linolenic acid (GLA) – which offers similar benefits.* Studies have found positive benefits from a combination of omega-3 fatty acids and GLA for bone health, as well as for the cardiovascular and respiratory systems.* Studies have also determined that a combination of GLA with EPA and DHA helps maintain already normal cholesterol and triglyceride levels.*

DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) (from Fish Oil) 200 mg.
GLA (Gamma Linolenic Acid) (from Borage Oil) 40 mg.
Other Ingredients: Gelatin (bovine), Purified Water and Glycerin (vegetable source) gelcap, Vitamin E (mixed tocopherols).
Contains ingredients derived from fish (fish oil = anchovy, sardine, mackerel).
